Congratulations to the Class of 2009

I'm trying to catch up a little on blogging. Feeling a little behind but thought I'd back track a little and share a few more things from the end of the year. Thanks for your patience and continuing to check back in here to read what's new. Here are some pictures and comments about graduation this year. We couldn't hold it at our school campus because we do not have a spot large enough to hold all the people. The school arranged for us to use a conference room at BTC (Bandung Trade Center) for the ceremony.
My roommates and friends, Molly and Emma, and I wait for graduation to start.
While waiting I noticed some high school students walk in with cotton candy and ice cream cones. Is this graduation or the fair???
The processional begins. There were 9 graduates this year.
The seniors prepared two special songs to sing as a group at graduation. One was a hilarious song of inside jokes and fun memories of their time at BAIS.
Wil delivered the valedictorian speech at the ceremony. Wil was this year's Student Council president and received a staff sponsored scholarship awarded at graduation... overall just a great student and inspiring young man.
The seniors asked Jennie to be the key note speaker at graduation. She was honored and overwhelmed at the task of what challenge she should give the seniors before they go their separate ways. She decided as part of her speech she would wash the seniors' feet as a challenge to them to follow the example of Christ throughout their lives.
The seniors with their families.
One last group shot of all the graduates.
